A couple years ago, I made art of Leopardstar and shared my views on her.
I think she is a cat who was not meant to lead. During the course of the first series, Riverclan suffered greatly over the moons that had past. Leopardstar saw Tigerstar as a strong, powerful warrior/leader just like most of the cats in the forest.
Let's not forget that Bluestar once made Tigerstar her deputy.
She thought that this amazing warrior could strengthen her clan, and that he could weed out her clan's weaknesses.
She did not think that it would include such bloodshed.
I don't see her as a bad leader, as she truly did try to bring greatness to her clan, but that role simply wasn't for her.
